and Vee I think you should catch Thai airways to get to LA first and find the domestic flight to get to FL. I just tried searching for you and found out that there was the airport in Pensacola (PNS). The easiest way to get there from Bangkok is to catch Thai airways first (if you don't care about how expensive it is) to land in LA and then catch the domestic one to Pensacola (by American Airline: around 180$ one-way). And Vee you have to understand the fact that the Unites States is very large and you can't avoid layovers. At least you have to stop by LA to get the domestic one to get to Pensacola. Check the airline price on www.kayak.com or www.orbitz.com ja
Btw I'm glad to hear that you are planning to further your studies here na ja
Vee.. Pensacola is quite far from where I live. Try checking the weather forecast. I've heard that the weather is often stormy. In my opinion the cities like Tampa, Orlando or Miami will be more comfortable for you because they are big cities and have intl airport. that won't worry you with regard to transportation. FL is a good choice for studying but it's difficult to find a job.
oh! there are "no" direct flight from BKK to any cities in FL. You have to land in the main cities first such as New York (JFK), Los Angeles (LAX), San Francisco (SFO), Newark NJ (EWR) etc and then you will have to catch the domestic flight after you're done with the immigration.
Vee try checking EVA, NWA, UA, China airline or Asiana airline (Korea) for intl flight. I got a special price from EVA last September. And use the site kayak, com to search for the best domestic flight. Where is your final destination (what city in FL)? To me, I like JetBlue the best because it's the only one airline passengers don't need to pay for baggage fee.
wow .. P bell is now staying in Largo (Tampa Bay), Florida. Chris and I are doing fine. Vee you will fly with whom (which airline)? Oh let me know about your trip..
